Heat Force Decisive Game 7

Back in December, Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings hinted that he was uncertain whether he’d be back with the team after his contract expired at the end of the 2012 campaign. With a Packers’ loss on Saturday night, the end of the season has come, and now the real speculation begins.
“It’s been great. I love this organization,” Jennings — who has played all seven of his NFL seasons in Green Bay, “The reality is there will probably be some changes made. Hopefully, I’m here, but if not I’m ready to move wherever. It is what it is. I’m not naive to that, being a realist. … I love this organization. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else, but if I have to, that’s what I’m ready to do.”
There are plenty of WR-needy teams around the league, and we’ve heard the impending FA linked to such clubs as Dallas, Miami, the Jets and St. Louis. The Packers do have the ability to use the franchise tag on Jennings, though it was pretty clear during their preview of “Life after Jennings” — when he was out with an abdominal injury — that they’re going to be OK at the WR position whether he’s back or not.
