Jaguars TE Mercedes Lewis Says Tebow to Jax Is a “NO-NO”

We all know Tim Tebow will be looking for a new team this off-season, and many thought he would end up in a Jacksonville Jaguars jersey. Not only did the new general manager for the Jags, David Caldwell, say he didn’t want Tebow, but Mercedes Lewis also shared his “honest” thoughts when approached in public.

“We need a guy that’s gonna put us over the hump right now, not a project. Not taking anything away from Tebow but we need a pure quarterback.”
