For veteran players that have already been released by their teams, they can begin to check in with interested suitors, and such has been the case for DT Chris Canty, who was the “other” vet released by the New York Giants last week. (The Giants’ cut of RB Ahmad Bradshaw drew considerably more attention in our fantasy football-obsessed world).

According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today, Canty visited with the Tennessee Titans over the weekend, and the next stop on his agenda is the Kansas City Chiefs. Canty has scheme flexibility, so the fact that the two known suitors play in a 4-3 (Tennessee) and 3-4 (K.C.) would seem to indicate that he’s keeping all options open, a wise decision. Garafolo hints that there could be more visits forthcoming, but it would appear that Canty is in demand.
