fWe have known for months that a committee would select the four teams that would play in a college football playoff system. We have not known, though, how those four teams will be selected — until now.
ESPN college football reporter Brett McMurphy says that the playoff committee will have 14 to 20 members. That news came after a Thursday meeting of college commissioners.
“There are a lot of great people out there that love the game, that will be able willing and qualified,” said ACC commissioner John Swofford. “We want people that know the game and understand the game, that have wisdom, integrity and respect. We’re confident those people are out there.”
