Willis McGahee

Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee will miss six to eight weeks due to a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee. He also has a fracture in the bone in his lower leg. McGahee won’t need surgery and believes he’ll be back in four to six weeks despite what the team thinks.

The former Miami Hurricane suffered the injury early in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers when he was tackled by defensive back Quentin Jammer. McGahee is the current leader in rushing for the Broncos with 731 yards.
